    About
    Achievements

In 2008, Chan co-founded Image Space Media, an In-Image advertising company based in NYC with fellow Columbia Alum, Kevin Tung, and served as CTO. The company was successfully acquired by Vibrant Media in 2012. With the acquisition, he became VP of Product for Vibrant Media, the leaders in alternative contextual ad products.

Prior to ISM, Chan was Director of Engineering at Inform Technologies, a venture-backed start-up building semantic technology for premium content brands such as CNN and Washington Post. Chan started his career at Citigroup, where he eventually became a VP in the Global Engineering group responsible for evaluating how the firm could leverage new technologies.

Chan has also been an active angel investor. In 2014, he invested in Keaton Row, the first online person-to-person sales channel that pairs clients with their preferred stylists, and Shopline, the leading DIY e-commerce solution for merchants in HK, Taiwan and SE Asia.
