I am a VC and startup lawyer by background, having graduated from Columbia Law and started out in the M&A practice at Skadden Arps before shifting to a practice focused on partnering with startup companies and venture capital investors. I transitioned to Gunderson Dettmer as a corporate associate and served as outside general counsel to founders and investors before moving over to Interplay Ventures. At Interplay, I contribute to the fundraising and investment efforts from the legal and sourcing aspects.
Through Lotus Venture Partners, the early stage investing entity that my business partner and I started, I hope to capitalize on my passion for being a valuable resource to founders, not just by providing capital but with my expertise in legal, fundraising, equity/debt matters, commercial deals, and other day-to-day issues. Outside of work, I serve on the global board of the Columbia Venture Community, and I am an active angel investor and advisor for early stage companies.
