    About
    Achievements

As the cofounder and CTO of Creative Market, I built, planned, and designed the entire framework and all major site features for the web app, including the credit card processing, payment processing (to shops and affiliates), accounting/reporting, tax compliance, and fraud detection/prevention functionality, as well as all user registration/authentication and general security features, all database schema designs, including our ElasticSearch deployment, one-click site deployment, and way too many other things to list.

I led the efforts to migrate the web app from SoftLayer to AWS in 2015, allowing for much greater scalability and flexibility in how we built the application and hired teams.

I also built, managed, and coached teams of engineers and managers from SREs to front end devs.

In 2014, Autodesk acquired Creative Market after being live for only a year and a half. While at Autodesk we grew three fold, and spun out in 2017 as an independent company.
