    eDakia
Email account for every citizen in India
Product Design, Product Launch, Retail Distribution Network creation, Android SDK, Java, Ruby on Rails · I conceptualised the product and created a… · More working prototype. We launched the product at IIT Delhi Open house and attracted most attention from the visitors.

    What is it?
eDakia was world's first consumer facing service that enabled non-internet users to send and receive emails without understanding Internet but leveraging their mobile number as the unique identifier.

The service was designed for the 80% digitally excluded population in India that couldn't use English, couldn't use computer, couldn't use internet and never used email.

We developed a low cost GSM enabled document sharing device that enabled sending hard copy documents over the cloud using mobile number as the identity.
