Pawan Gupta

I co-founded and led product management of an educational software company based out of India for 3+ years, and then joined Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). I loved professional yet down-to-earth culture taught at school, and learned to do hands on work even if it is small to move the needle.

During my 2 years at school, I focused my efforts on learning about social media and consumer applications. In particular, I did multiple projects with co-founder(s) and senior executives of Snapchat, Twitter, Yik Yak, Viber and WeChat on interesting problems that varied from user acquisition, product features feedback to product growth and expansion in international countries.

In addition to, I had meaningful interactions with senior executives and product teams from Facebook, Dubsmash, Salesforce, Beepi and FireChat, and in the process, created growth documents / podcasts for driving their product adoption among specific target users.
