Head of Product Engineering
- I led Quora's Product Engineering Organization - a group of 6 teams (~35 engineers) working full-stack to build user-facing product and the systems behind it. Some things... more I worked on:
- Directly recruited engineers and managers. Improved Quora's overall recruiting process and strategy.
- Coached/mentored engineers, coached/developed managers. Partnered with the Talent team to put together Quora's new manager training.
- Contributed directly to Quora's technical roadmap and strategy (build-vs-buy strategy, etc).
- Led product strategy and execution in several key areas. Led a technical/product overhaul of Quora's Email Digest that doubled click-through-rate, cementing it as the top retention channel (also improved performance/reliability of the system). Founded and led the Quora Partner Program.
