Oliver Cookson

Oliver created Myprotein in 2004 using just $800 and has been the driving force behind its incredible growth which resulted in an exit of a reported $100m. Myprotein was 100% bootstrapped and never had any outside investment or debt.

On the 1st of June 2011 Oliver sold Myprotein wholly to The Hut Group for a reported $100m which was for a combined shares and cash consideration. Olivers interests maintained a 100% shareholding in Myprotein until the sale.

His interests are a major shareholder in “The Hut Group” and he did sit on the board until he resigned from that role in October 2012.
