As the Director of Engineering at Felix, I am proud to lead a team that is working to empower millions of Canadians to live healthier lives. Our team is focused on creating... more a seamless patient experience, from the moment someone decides they want to use Felix to when they get their prescription fulfilled.
In just a few months, I have accomplished several key goals, including establishing a career framework that provides clear guidance on growth opportunities for engineers. I have also introduced a quality improvement strategy and implemented logging and health metrics to improve operational visibility.
As a manager, I have helped my team achieve predictable velocity and resolved challenging technical issues such as setting up feature flags and containerizing a legacy system. I have also documented the current state of our architecture and am leading the effort along with our engineer to dream up a more scalable and easier-to-extend system.
