Founded company with Jeremy Herrman. Raised over $40M total equity + debt financing. Built operational factory in San Francisco, built world class CNC automation system and... more category-defining CAD design analysis software. Built out exec team, scaled all functions (to ~80 FTEs), and acquired top Fortune 500 customers.
As I stepped down, revenue growth was ~5x over the trailing 12 months, and we were scaling our production facilities to keep pace with strong demand.

+ Founded CloudFab, a manufacturing-as-a-service software company, which was acquired by VistaTek (large manufacturing company).
+ Founded HackPittsburgh, a community workshop, where we build the membership to breakeven in 6 months. It's been in continuous operation since 2009.
+ Organized an international series of Hardware Startup Meetups, including the San Francisco meetup. To date, there are 12 meetups with over 5000 members and 100's of hardware startups.
+ Started TheMakerMap.com as a side project to organize local prototyping / manufacturing resources in the Bay Area. It's since spread across the US and beyond.
