Rapid problem solving and new idea creation. I have documented so many ideas in my notepad that I now have hundreds. They aren't awesome but the number of viable ideas have grown recently as my skills have evolved.
Very Large Scale Integration with Onur Tigli, that guy really influenced my engagement on scale and fabrication of microprocessors to nanoprocessors. I still use concepts I gathered in that course and was able to clearly make sense of Moore's Law.
I wish that I began pitching my earlier ideas and executing them until I found a true reason for them not to work. I was too sheltering and could have benefited from that exposure and experience.
