Created lonelygirl15, KateModern, and several more web series that collectively launched the online video industry. Lonelygirl15 was the #1 channel on YouTube at the time of the Google acquisition and KateModern was the #1 channel on Bebo at the time of the AOL acquisition.
Bootstrapped a digital studio (LG15 Productions/Telegraph Ave. Productions) to 35 employees between Los Angeles and London and created a model for branded content and international licensing of web series.
Founded EQAL and as the CEO grew it to become the largest celebrity network online. We reached 60 million people across social media and generated billions of impressions every month. I led the company to a successful acquisition by Everyday Health in Fall 2012.
