A fourth-generation entrepreneur, Mauro has been working in the real estate and travel industries since he was 14 years old.
After completing his MBA from Queen’s University in Canada and living in different countries around the world, Mauro co-founded Navut (acquired), the first online relocation platform using big data and proprietary matchmaking algorithms to connect people to their ideal neighbourhoods. Navut received awards and recognition from organizations such as Google, EY, and C2 Montreal for the way it disrupted its industry and helped over 1 million people to relocate.
In 2016, after joining TechStars, Mauro launched NestReady, a pioneer in building a trusted and streamlined end-to-end homebuying experience offered by mortgage lenders all over North America. The company raised over $5M in capital from top angels and VCs and was featured in several tech events like Money2020, Finovate and Digital Mortgage. NestReady was recently acquired by Homebot.
After gaining experience with two ventures from start to exit, Mauro decided to leverage his learnings to create a mission-driven project with the goal of providing families with a more fulfilling life. Mauro is also a real estate and angel investor, a mentor at Founder Institute, NextAI, and TechStars, and sits on the board of advisors of several technology companies.
My mission is to help entrepreneurs and immigrants to achieve their true potential. I am also passionate about using technology to transform people's lives and to unite humans.
