Hi, I'm Matt. I founded Paradigm Search. We specialize in exec searches in engineering and product (CTO, VPE, CPO, VPP). We are committed to a low quantity of searches in order to dedicate ourselves to the highest quality of service to our partners.

Previously, I was with Daversa Partners for 10 years, most recently as a Partner. I helped to build and lead Daversa's West Coast engineering and product practice. I recruited VP and C-level executives primarily in engineering and product, plus peripheral searches like data sci, design, tech ops, SRE, solutions, support etc. I personally won and led searches for companies like Slack, Snowflake, UiPath, Instabase, Freshworks, Hashicorp, Roblox, Plaid, Upstart, Webflow, CircleCI, LogDNA, Rippling, Lacework, Modern Health, ThousandEyes, Cloudflare, Plastiq, Styra, Banyan Security, Grove.co, Snapchat, Opendoor, Sentry.io, Menlo Security, Sigma Computing, Recurly, Lightstep, Fetch Robotics, Clear Labs, Astronomer, Anyroad, Remix, and others.

I am from Southern California, graduated from the University of Michigan with degrees in Mathematics and Economics, spent the first 5 years of my career in NYC, the second 5 years of my career in SF, and now in Austin.
