self taught software engineer who went on to get a BS in CS at Georgia Tech and move to silicon valley to work with startups. my passion drives me forward.
After being a cog at Yahoo straight out of college, I realized that big companies weren't a fit for me at the time so I became the 3rd engineer at an e-commerce startup which got acquired by our rival after about 2 years and then sold to Visa. I managed the entire front end for the company.
After, I joined a green tech startup as the 7th employee to take care of the front end. That company gained customers such as BMW, Whirlpool, and all market leaders in the solar industry.
Most recently, I joined a ticket exchange marketplace based in London as their first US Engineer tasked with growing the US team and transitioning engineers from London to the United States. Earlier this year, the company bought the #1 US ticket marketplace, StubHub.
Through all these companies, on the side, I founded, developed, and maintain the #1 advance movie screening website in the world. I also love creating other side projects and weekend projects and continually compete and win in various hackathons.
