As CEO of Serious Energy, I helped develop, patent and produce disruptive technologies that reduce energy usage in buildings. We built a team of 420 ppl driving a 63% CAGR delivering products, software and services to 70,000 projects including the Empire State Bldg and NY Stock Exchange.
Also led innovations including OnStar virtual advisor for GM, Perfect Commerce (online auctions), and mobile data (Air Communications) and became associated with the introduction of a number of technology firsts including the modern "human-like" voice user interface (i.e. Siri) at General Magic, the first wireless data smart phone (AirCommunicator) and the invention of soundproof drywall (QuietRock).
Featured in BusinessWeek, Time, Fortune, Forbes and was Entrepreneur of the Year for Inc. Magazine, one of the top innovators of the decade by CNBC, named Tech Pioneer by the World Economic Forum (Davos), and inducted into the Innovation Hall of Fame at RIT.
