Along with a 12 person team, I designed, built, and sold Buoy, the first complete home water shutoff valve with automatic leak detection. 2 patents, CES Best of Show 2018,... more Edison Design Award 2017. secured multi-$M contract from top 5 homeowners insurance carrier, and piloted device and app with several water agencies, insurance carriers, and direct consumers. Sold company to Resideo (formerly Honeywell Home) in March 2019, with nice return to investors.
