Currently, run Apple practice for Wipro technologies, where we build mobile apps that change how people work. Responsible for building roadmap of apps and building of apps. In the past 6 months, have created a funding structure and product team to build a suite of productivity apps.
I am an entrepreneur at heart. I own a small poster business and a recipe app that are my passion projects outside of work. Although, I love what I do I yearn for a faster pace, urgency and a period to build something with other dreamers.
Good to Great by James Collins is the most useful business book I have ever read. As it stands, James Collins creates a formula on the elements of a great company. Also, I thought it dispelled some stereotypes of the successful CEO.
The alchemist is one of my favorites. It really depicts how everyone is on their own journey in the pursuit of happiness. As a collegiate athelete, pumping the breaks on intense external competition and focusing on my personal journey was liberating.
This ties closely to the Alchemist. After reading that book, I knew in my journey I wanted to starts successful company and save the ocean. In short, I would be doing the same thing I would be doing now, with more philanthropy and more fishing.
I admire Bill Gates the most. While he was CEO I loved how he was described as "paranoid", his attention to detail is something that I really admire. Also, his commitment to philanthropy and innovation. He tried to make drinkable water from poop!
Energy. I believe energy is infectious and if sustained can carry teams of people to places that seemed impossible.
