RESPONSIBILITIES
• Developed a custom-built ETL system in Ruby on Rails that syncs API data from Shopify, ReCharge, Stripe and other e-commerce data into a centralized data warehouse for analytics purposes.
• Created a large-scale analytics toolset giving the company insights into customer behavior, cohort retention, marketing performance, shipping performance, product performance and more using Postgresql, Metabase and Looker. In total, more than 300 reports were created to drive decision-making.
• Managed relationships with 3rd-party technology service providers such as Segment, ReCharge, Littledata, and other tools vital to company operations.
• Evaluated and determined priorities based on near- and long-term company KPIs.
• Developed an SMS-based chatbot experience using Twilio that allows customers to manage, pause, or upgrade their subscriptions with a text message.
• Led the creation of a fully-custom subscription management portal that utilized
• Met regularly with Customer Support to understand customer feedback, and developed many solutions that reduced inbound CS tickets dramatically overnight.
• Attended weekly C-Suite meetings to discuss company-wide issues including operations, strategy, finance, and HR.
• Made meaningful contributions to business modeling, hiring processes, pricing standardization, and data standardization across all business areas.
• Managed contractors for purposes such as customer interviews, software development, and content program creation.
