• mySidewalk CTO (2011 - 2013): Used AWS, Microsoft.NET, MySQL, and MVC.NET 4 to rebuild the entire product with third-party developers (7 people in Los Angeles and Belarus) to build the new platform in 4 months; original prototype supported 10 cities (clients); one year later, after Sales was enabled, the platform supported over 120 cities nationwide (1,200% improvement). Supported $4M funding raise and oversaw the technical acquisition of VoterTide.com. By year 3, 600 cities across the United States, including 8 of the top 10 cities by size, used the service (500% improvement).
• EdgeMAC CTO (2013 - 2014): Conducted a comprehensive technical audit to uncover and document technical debt in a private Data Center with Virtualized Windows Servers running Microsoft.NET and SQL Server 2005/2008 applications; developed a year-long technology roadmap to address significant technical debt; resolved outages and moved technology out of emergency mode; developed and deployed significant people-, process-, and technology- related improvements to restart new product development; managed development and data teams (6 people in Anaheim), including team members (and areas of the product) that required security clearance.
• Cloud Cover Music CTO (2014 - 2015): Resolved major performance issues in AWS, iOS/Android applications, and a proprietary Android Media Player to enable the business to add more clients; restructured the entire development team (3 people in Los Angeles) from scratch; used AWS, ReactJS, MySQL, and HTML5 to rebuild the entire platform to address major performance and scalability issues in 6 months; redefined music processing processes and standards to streamline new song and playlist production; developed the first open-source based HTML5 music streaming engine for legal, streamed music for business; enabled the company's next round of funding for $8.5M.
• RelishMIX CTO (2012 - 2018): Triaged hostile development resource; used AWS, LAMP, Bootstrap, and proprietary data feeds to reset the technology platform; built an outsourced development team (5 people in Morocco) from scratch; stabilized data analytics platform in a 1-year period to become a leading entertainment analytics provider; trained local business team to manage and work with remote developer resources; enabled new feature development and traffic growth when both were not previously possible.
• Intern Sushi CTO (2011 - 2012): Used AWS, Microsoft.NET, MySQL, and MVC.NET 4 to rebuild the entire product team because the original prototype never launched; sourced an entirely new outsourced team (7 people in Los Angeles and Belarus); leveraged third-party developers to build the new platform in 4 months; after launch, over 6,000 companies offered internships to over 18,000 students; in the next year, over 15,000 companies (250% improvement) offered internships to over 75,000 students (>400% improvement).
