    Joel also serves as Chairman of Ozmosis, Inc., a company he previously co-founded and that provides care collaboration solutions to the healthcare industry. 

    Prior to Ozmosis, Joel co-founded and directed Medical Funding Services (MFS), a digital healthcare payments firm, previously served as a manager and subject matter expert in wireless technology and e-business at IBM Global Services, and began his career at American Management Systems where he developed business intelligence and social network analysis systems for the U.S. Government.

    Joel received his BA from Georgetown University and MBA from the Darden School of Business, where he led the Entrepreneurs Club and worked for Updata Venture Partners. He co-founded FounderCorps and currently serves as a Board Member of the Charlottesville Business Innovation Council (CBIC), Member of the OpenQ Advisory Board, and Mentor to the Healthbox Accelerator.
