- Lead product for Support pillar in Instagram’s Well-Being product group, driving IG’s integrity strategy and liaising with Facebook’s 10k+ person Community Integrity organization.... more Own Instagram’s reporting, feedback, appeals, and support communication products, focusing on improving the signal from users to train our ML classifiers and improve the IG content experience
- Launched new reporting experience for IG’s 1.2 billion users across all platforms, increasing action rate on reported content by 25.1% and volume of actioned content by 8.9% while reducing report volume by 23.4%
- Launched a new strikes system to reduce violating content on IG by targeting high volume, frequent violators. Decreased repeat offenses by 21% and drove a 7% daily reduction in DAUs exposed to violating content
- Launched new Actor and Reporter Appeals products, taking coverage from 0-100% worldwide for all content types and violation groups on Instagram. Enabled more aggressive use of classifiers to auto-action reports, improving CSAT and eliminating tens of thousands of workload hours
- Incubated new product initiative focused on improving teen mental health and reducing social comparison and loneliness on IG. Convinced executive leadership to fund the effort and staff a new team to focus on it
