Jason Chen

I have advised Fortune 500 companies, the United States government, and developing countries in the former Soviet Union, Middle East, and Eastern Europe. In 2008 I founded VentureScope, LLC to partner with entrepreneurs, startups, and small/mid-size businesses to help them launch, grow, and enter new markets. Through VentureScope, I co-founded WeatherAlpha, LLC to help brand companies improve their business operations and advertising campaigns through weather analytics and technologies. Over the past two years, I worked for Booz Allen’s Strategic Innovation Group and helped clients crowdsource solutions to technical and organizational problems. I also conceived, launched, and led Booz Allen’s efforts to partner with incubators, scout for emerging technologies, and partner with, invest in, or acquire startups. I also designed and managed the company’s first internal “shark tank” pitch event, and conceptualized, designed, and led the firm’s internal Accelerator program.
