    • Launched “Transfers”, a private platform that facilitated the sale of SPV... more holdings from AngelList investors to secondary buyers; this comprehensive project which reached $10M ARR in 6 months involved developing the product, design, and engineering for the platform, which served buyers, sellers, brokers, and administrators alike.
    • Created a public version of the AngelList Access Fund, which provided broad access to venture capital investments while mitigating risk for investors; this 1940 act fund was designed with a daily NAV price and ticker (SVXVX); worked closely with external counsel, fund administrators, and lobbyists to ensure legal compliance.
    • Collaborated closely with the legal team and outside counsel to establish a broker /dealer that enabled AngelList to explore new revenue streams in compliance with SEC regulations.
    • Designed a streamlined investor experience flow while awaiting regulatory approval that allowed users to monitor and manage their portfolios, while simplifying the back-end processes for tax and legal requirements.

Designed & developed modern web & iOS apps to quickly filter & search for hotels; architected Ruby on Rails API to serve & quickly scale web and mobile apps; managed all dev-ops and CI.
    • Layer: Created an app & chat bot for TechCrunch Disrupt winner to demo the technology to investors. Developed IoT connectivity with Philips Hue Smart Lighting to control devices.
    • Fairy (acquired by Postmates): Developed mobile apps and products to support users of both sides of the home cleaning marketplace. Managed periodic user feedback sessions to influence product design; simplified the offering for customers allowing for improved expectations for cleaners, increasing NPS.
    • Skurt (acquired by TrueCar): Led the design & development of iOS apps and revamped onboarding for a logistics startup that provides on-demand car rental. Created “in-trip” views and services to extend rentals and provide valuable information to renters, leading to a higher customer LTV.

The concierges, collectively referred to as "Aces", are available 24-7 during your booking to do things like make a restaurant reservation for dinner, or get extra towels sent up to your room.
