    Q&A
    What's your favorite non-business book?

    Dan Simmons' "Hyperion Cantos"

If money were not an issue, what would you be doing right now?

    Running Cantos.

What words of advice would you give your younger self?

    Listen to other people less.

What's the most creative thing you've ever done?

As a kid I'd use Milk Duds to extract loose baby teeth. Still pretty proud of that hack.

Which founders or startups do you most admire?

Those in the Cantos portfolio, of course!

    What's your super power?

Trust in my own convictions... and navigating venture funding.

What's the best way for people to get in touch with you?

    Probs Twitter.

What aspects of your work are you most passionate about?

    Learning, and helping others.

What was the most impactful class you took in school?

History of World War II gave me an appreciation for making impossible decisions under extreme pressure and operating in moral ambiguity.

What's something you wish you had done years earlier?

    Marry my wife :)

    What's an obstacle you've overcome?

I suffered an injury years ago that gave me permanent pain and it nearly broke me, but I've overcome to the point that most days I don't think about it.

What's the most useful business-related book you've ever read?

"7 Powers" by Hamilton Helmer, hands down.
