Dr. Henry Kon has done extensive research, publication, and implementation in the areas of concept inferencing, ontology for data integration, semantic knowledge representation, error propagation for data quality, and mathematical finance. He architected and built a platform for large-scale text concept extraction and inferencing, including an orthogonalization and classification engine, which transforms published reference works into faceted taxonomies and readable encyclopedic content derived from the web. As a principal investigator for MIT's Context Interchange project under DARPA and NSF, Henry researched and built platforms for integration of structured and semi-structured data over independently managed and disparate schema underlying databases. He has authored and holds patents and publications in these areas and in the management of technological innovation. Henry holds a BS in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University, an MS in Computer Science from New York University and a PhD in Computer Science and Information Technology from MIT.
