I was the sole engineer responsible for developing a pricing/sizing/selection tool in Excel/VBA for my department at Emerson for building industrial valve assemblies. I completely overhauled the support documentation, metrics and information available for globe valves at Neway Valve International. Outside of my resume, I have managed the CRM for a fintech startup, managed the backend for an emerging venture capital manager, backed startups as an angel investor, sold real estate by myself, released several albums of music, and beat the S&P 500 with my friends-and-family portfolio 3 years in a row.

When life gives you lemons, just making lemonade will waste the rinds. Figure out how to use every part because squeezing out every last drop of juice isn't enough.
