CEO @AbstractOps, fmr COO @forge-formerly-equidate, consultant @BCG. Stanford, Northwestern alum. I invest in digitizing process or harnessing cultural shifts.
At Equidate: Over ~4 years (from first employee to running day-to-day biz ops as COO), I played a critical role in the company's incredible growth story. We 100-200xed the business and became the market leader in a key aspect of the startup ecosystem, raising a $50M Series B in 2018.
At various points, I led or deeply influenced every aspect of the company -- strategy (corp dev, strategic partnerships, FP&A, PR/content and thought leadership), tech product strategy, deal operations (structuring, product development and branding, biz dev), and corporate affairs (hiring, HR/comp, compliance, risk, vendor relations, real estate). That kind of surface area at a complex multi-sided marketplace was an amazing journey, and it was at a healthy stopping point when I made the jump.
At BCG: I worked on ~20 projects, mainly industrial goods / financial services. Got a great sense of how F500 companies do it -- understanding dynamics at both best and worst-run strategy, organizations, and teams.
