I've developed mission-critical software components time and time again in a number of different industries. In college, I parlayed my undergraduate thesis into a position as an R&D engineer in the medical insurance industry. I started my own company with friends in the big-data text analytics space (before big data was a catch word). This company was later acquired by twitter. I co-founded a creative music app that developed an international following and is still run by the community to this day (despite the company dissolving). I went on to a position at a bio-tech company as the primarily developer of one of the most foundational software systems in the company. I saw the company raise a series A and series B ($130m) and grow by 5x. In between many of these positions, I also freelanced and have done everything from one-off screen-scraping to developing and launching entire products. These days I'm interested in continuing to help others achieve their goals with my experience.
