Reduces the risks of wandering for people with dementia
Product Owner Role · Backlog grooming for design and dev

FindMe protects people with dementia against the risks of wandering, freezing cold,… · More heat, traffic, drowning, and falling. The app also helps caregivers and family members connect and coordinate by creating a virtual dementia village. We are building the iOS app with React Native.

    Tiny News Web App
Partnered with Greg Elofson and dev team to design build out a robust social news web and mobile app.

I designed the complete web experience, and… · More revamped the iOS app along with adding features that weren't a part of the MVP. I proposed new product lines and ways to make Tiny News more profitable. I helped shape how we positioned the product and who we would target in the initial launch.

    About
    Achievements

    Currently, building FindMe:

At FindMe, we're focused on mitigating the tragic consequences of Alzheimer's disease and wandering: from patients being lost, falling, or exposure to deadly weather.

Previously, worked with a great group on Tiny News: a mixed-use crowdsourced news portal. Co-Founded the Center for Electronic Commerce at Emory University; Led R&D efforts for the use of machine learning in image understanding at SAIC; Thought leader in building trust with technology and in using intelligent agents for mass-personalization; Led the first in-house software project at Andersen Consulting to ever finish under budget and under time; and finally, bootstrapped the first social media shopping app, Shopbee, which had nationwide coverage of national retailers and local deals, with Instagram-like photo sharing and fashion exchanges.
