- Technical strategy, the software architecture was built with flexibility in mind so that that startup could pivot 360 without significant development delays
- Hiring, team building, mentoring, growing. With a relatively small team, the efficiency was much better than that of other similar business startups in the EU and Americas (we had insights). Most engineers who passed a trial period are still working for the company (2 people quit because of life-changing events)
- Participation in the business/product decisions; thus, the software platform was ready for the new business requirements before they occurred
- Implemented, documented and enforced an entire SDLC, based on industry standards (like CI/CD, TDD, Software patterns, Agile/Scrum/Kanban, etc.)
- Was reporting directly to the CEO
