I wanted to understand my hormones and fertility, but the GP told us to 'just start trying'. We then decided to set up a hormone testing company ourselves.
I was the third employee and later partner at Entrepreneur First, a talent-first venture capital fund now managing $200m in capital. In my time at EF, I helped more than 1000 people create over 200 companies, worth a combined $2bn.
I ran our global expansion strategy, having opened EF offices in Berlin, Hong Kong, Paris, and Bangalore over the course of 2018. Before that, I set up and ran Entrepreneur First in Singapore. I was part of the early EF team in London, where I created our European talent acquisition strategy. Before EF, I finished degrees at Cambridge and Utrecht, wrote a thesis on thermodynamics in windmills, and ran a travel agency to North Korea.
