At the age of fourteen, I started and ran a not-for-profit program, Carnivals For Children On Wheels which brought dozens of free carnivals to over 4000 youth who were underprivileged, mentally and physically disabled youth, and/or those with life threatening illnesses.
As the founder of the concept, I managed and created all the aspects of the program from organizing transportation for 100 volunteers, to building booths, expansion strategy, sourcing carnival prizes from various manufacturers, finding potential locations inside and outside for the events, organizing fundraising events, recruitment of corporate sponsorship, creation of marketing strategy, as well as speaking with and creating partnerships with directors of individual non-profit organizations.
