Great Works of Western Culture...I was a wannabe Young Republican at the time and my professor made me lead the analysis of The Communist Manifesto. She also wept while reading Homer during a lecture to 200+ students...that is passion!

Joined the Peace Corps
What's an obstacle you've overcome?
Got out of a chair and decided not to quit at mile 70 of the Western States Endurance Run. It took me 9 more hours but I finished the race 30 minutes before the cut-off time.
What's the most creative thing you've ever done?
That's a great question...I think the most consistently creative thing I've done in my life is parenting. It's constant learning, constant change, constant creativity to adapt my parenting as my three kids grow.
