I've built one of the largest privately-held global CDNs. When I left Valve Corporation, we had amassed over 150 million active customers and pushed total global bandwidth usage to over 7Tbps. We reached these heights with hundreds of top-tier servers spread across 20+ datacenters worldwide. It was a massive undertaking, but I consider it a point of pride that we could max out 99% of customer home internet connections with our game downloads.
