I managed all supply chain and manufacturing activities at Applied MicroStructures, a developer and manufacturer of semiconductor capital equipment. Even though we developed hardware, I served as the product development project manager and personally introduced Agile values (iterative, test-driven development, continuous integration, scrum) into the operation. I worked extensively with cross-functional teams including R&D and marketing to obtain user stories and populate the product backlog, then executed iterative sprints with mechanical, systems, and process engineering to materialize product features. The ASP for the 2 systems we developed are $900K and $1.1M, respectively.
