Early in my career I built one of the first independent Internet networks and prototyped the first CDN. I later joined Sony and built a hosting platform for them before transitioning into a corporate VC role focused on investing in and incubating core technology companies.
I left Sony to attend Brown University, where I did high performance and cognitive computing work while pursuing a BSc. After I left Brown I cofounded a consulting company that grew to 15 employees across multiple clients. During that time I consulted for the Gap, where I ran web operations for their online brands and helped launch two new brands.
After selling the consulting company, I returned my focus to early stage companies, first at Topsy, and then at Simple where I was the 2nd non-founding employee. During my time there I advanced into the VPE role, building and leading a 30+ person engineering team that built the best consumer bank in existence.
Now I'm building a new business banking service: SEED.
