I've been building a new wing on an orphanage in Sri Lanka. The orphanage is actually the same orphanage I was adopted from 30+ years ago. I was blessed with the opportunity to trace my heritage back to that orphanage, and realised that they kept me alive from the age of 2months til 1.5years old. After meeting with them, on 3 seperate trips this year, they asked if I could possibly help them with building a new baby wing at the orphanage, increasing the number of babies they could look after from 6 to 12. It has been an absolute honour and privilege to be a part of this build, and to give back to those people who were so generous in keeping me alive during the first 17 months of my life. I owe them so much, and I hope that this is just the beginning of what else I can help them with.
