My facebook apps built with Ruby-on-Rails for Fame Express LLC reached over 20 million MAUs and got acquired by a UK-based social network in December 2012. I was named among the "Best Young Entrepreneurs" by BusinessWeek and have also been awarded the "Forward Under 40" by the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I've been interviewed by CNBC, BusinessWeek, U.S. News & World Report, India Today, The Hindu and quoted in publications like L.A. Times, Chicago Tribune, Orlando Sentinel, etc. I've been a featured success case study in an MBA textbook used in 120 Universities called "Entrepreneurship: Successfully Launching New Ventures" by Dr. Bruce Barringer and Dr. R. Duane Ireland, and also in a book called "Innovative India" by Radhika Chadha and Parmit Chadha. I've reviewed books for Ken Tanner and Dan Pink. I have 8 U.S. patents and have 1 patent pending. My patents have been used in the research work of companies like Hewlett-Packard (HP), AT&T, Motorola, Fuji Film and Pitney Bowes.
