I co-founded Startupbootcamp, and got the first program off the ground in Copenhagen in 2010. I moved to Berlin in 2012 and got the program off the ground from scratch in 5 months. We have since grown with partner programs in 8 programs in 7 cities and more coming.
I was born in Spain, grew up in Africa, attended boarding school in England and an American high school in Zaïre. My first job was with a startup in San Francisco (implementing the "Minitel" in the Bay Area). I then travelled the world with DHL (postings in Eastern Europe, Hong Kong, Brussels, Denmark) and ended up with a line management role responsible for 1000 employees and an €80M budget.
In 2006 & 07 life threw us a curve ball and both my son and I got cancer within a year. I took time off and decided to work on what I really love: being an entrepreneur! Startupbootcamp itself is a startup and we've got traction!
