My career over the last 14 years is quite unique. It has brought me from studying Soviet-era fusion reactors in Novosibirsk to creating an entirely new market for sous vide at home.
At Princeton, I received my PhD in Plasma Physics/Astrophysics for work on unique and overlooked problems. This included an experimental project producing carbon nanotubes, theoretical studies in wave-particle interactions, and new computational models to support those findings.
Afterward, I founded Nomiku as CTO, building the first home sous vide immersion circulator and the first wifi connected cooking device. This involved solving technical systems and electromechanical challenges, as well as working with diverse teams across disciplines. My seven years of directing engineering at Nomiku have rocketed it into a world-class technology company with millions in revenue.
