I co-founded two venture capital firms, AT&T Ventures, and Vedanta Capital. I co-founded a company out of Bell Labs (in the late 80s) that developed graphics supercomputers. I spent several years writing compilers. As an investor, I have invested in over 70 companies, many of which have gone public or have been sold profitably. I am working with several start-up companies in NYC either as an advisor or as an angel investor. I was one of the founders of the New York New Media Association in the 90s, and I was the President of TiE NY. I am also on the Entrepreneurial Advisory Board and the Board of Visitors of Columbia University's School of Engineering.
