    Derek was Founder & President of BuyNow, a wholly owned subsidiary of Buy.com. He was instrumental in the turn-around of buy.com, allowing it to achieve profitability for the first time since its inception and leading to the successful acquisition by Rakuten for $250M in June 2010.

    Derek served on the Board of Advisors of PriceGrabber. The Company was subsequently acquired by Experian Interactive for $495M cash.

    Derek pioneered e-commerce and served as President of TechStore and Founder & CEO of OfficeExpress. He led the Company to an acquisition to publicly held eMarketplace.

    Derek pioneered the snowboarding industry and served as Co-Founder & CEO of crown distribution leading it to an acquisition at the age of 25 to NASDAQ: Madison Sports & Entertainment.

    Derek launched Ezekiel Clothing out of the garage of his home in Dana Point, CA. 25 years later Ezekiel is a top selling brand at Nordstrom.
