Are you a cracked engineer looking to join a team of people that are highly delusional and passionate about what they’re building? Have you ever thought to yourself — “wow, I wish I could live all the bad parts of the TV show Silicon Valley”? Then do we have the role for YOU. We’re looking for a founding engineer to join our seed stage startup (we're funded! $3.5M led by Work-Bench), and go boots on the ground.

We’ve got a product, we’ve got customers, and we need some awesome engineers ready to take this to the next level.

You’ll be provided with constant access to caffeine, since our landlords are the coffee shop next door. Our office is also a converted garage, conveniently located on South 1st in Austin. And as our new founding engineer, you’ll get the opportunity to shape the technical foundation of this company. Our founders are former healthcare providers, and know the space they’re operating in. We have fantastic advisors that have been operators at other unicorn startups, and a mortal kombat machine in office. Our culture is unlike any other — and our tight knit, talented team is eagerly looking forward to your applications.

We’ve got team members who were early at startups ranging from seed- series C (and backed by a16z, 8VC, NEA, etc.). Our founding head engineer who you'll report to -- is top-tier, recptive to feedback, and loves to move fast.

If you’re an incredible IC, who thrives in a fast-paced and fun environment, and just happens to also be passionate about AI + healthcare — it sounds like this just might be a match made in heaven. We’re really looking for someone that’s excited to build something awesome with the team!

You should definitely apply if:

• You have a passion for software engineering with at least 4 years of dev experience. We’d love to chat if you’ve got early-stage (Seed, Series A) startup experience
• You’re a talented engineer based in ATX or wanting to relocate to ATX to work with a small team of 10 on something super meaningful
• Startups excite you, you love to build and ship products quickly and constantly iterate on features, collaborating with all parts of the team on technical workflow, user journey, ways to improvement, and speed
• You’ve emphatic about being an IC and just want to crank out high quality code
• You are passionate about and have built AI applications
• Python, Node, NestJS, TypeScript, Turborepo, Terraform, SQL, React, AWS are all in our tech stack currently, experience with these is a must or ability to level up our tech stack from these
• API experience with Stripe, Checkr, OpenAI would be ideal
• You’re excited about building something that’s going to make a considerable difference in how we receive healthcare in the U.S.
