Project Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated developer to spearhead a groundbreaking initiative that connects blockchain technology with real-world infrastructure development in Africa. The project involves creating an innovative ecosystem that enhances the utility of a community based SPL token by integrating advanced smart contract functionalities. This includes mechanisms for automating economic actions such as fees, supply redistributions, burns, and liquidity pool staking incentives.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing a blockchain-based economic model that aligns the SPL token's value with the physical infrastructure deployments, ensuring sustainable growth and community health.
Key Responsibilities
Smart Contract Development:
- Develop and deploy a smart contract (or an alternative technical solution) to introduce sell fees to a traditional SPL token.
- Design automated mechanisms for token supply management, including allocation sells, buys, redistributions, and burns.
- Build and test a staking mechanism to incentivize liquidity pool participation.
Full-Stack Development:
- Develop user-facing dashboards and small applications to visualize and interact with the blockchain functionalities.
Back-End and Interoperability (Ideal Candidate Focus):
- Design cross-chain data architectures to connect Solana-based tokens with other blockchain ecosystems.
- Develop APIs for interoperability across Ethereum (L1/L2) and Solana, ensuring seamless value transfer and data flow.
Collaboration and Documentation:
- Work closely with the team to align technical development with the project’s vision.
- Create thorough documentation of code, processes, and system architecture to ensure clarity and maintainability.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Solana Development (Rust): Strong experience in developing on the Solana blockchain, particularly using Rust.
- Smart Contract Development: Proven ability to build, deploy, and optimize smart contracts for liquidity pool interactions, staking, and SPL token management.
- Full-Stack Development: Proficiency in building dashboards and small-scale applications for interacting with blockchain solutions.
Ideal Qualifications:
Back-End Data Architecture: Knowledge of cross-chain database design to facilitate interoperability between blockchains.
API Expertise: Demonstrated ability to design, integrate, and optimize APIs for seamless communication between decentralized and centralized systems.
Interoperability Development: Experience working across multiple blockchain ecosystems (e.g., Ethereum L1s/L2s, Solana).
Full-Stack Expertise for Consumer Apps: Ability to create larger-scale consumer applications with seamless Web2 onboarding/offboarding features.
