The Specialist I, Facilities will work closely with the Facilities Manager to support all facilities activities. They will be the first point of contact for internal and external customers seeking support and information, providing excellent service while building the trust in and integrity of the Promethean Facilities team. This role will provide administrative support to the Facilities Manager and the Facilities organization as well as manage office functions including building services coordination, security badge and access assignments, daily office operations, and providing general support service where needed. Additionally, the Facilities Coordinator, under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, will manage all local outside vendors in support of the Facilities Department, including maintaining records and contracts, coordinating project activities, and providing scheduling support.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain Office to Promethean Facilities Operating Standards
- Coordinate and manage Building and Janitorial Services
- Coordinate and manage Support Vendors
- Coordinate and manage Access Controls System
- Coordinate and manage Canteen program, including stocking
- Support Daily Office Operations
- Lead Office’s Health and Safety Initiative
- Support the Facilities Manager in special projects and administrative duties
Job Skills and Qualifications:
- 1 - 2+ years’ experience in Facilities Operations or related support service fields
- Knowledge of Facility and Maintenance Operations
- Ability to work and communicate professionally, verbally, and in written form with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Work independently without regular direct supervision
- Provide excellent customer service
- Team oriented approach
- Demonstrate passion for growth and continuous improvement
