The Buyer Development Director will be responsible for managing a specified Agency Holding company nationally on our Buyer Development Team. This includes supporting and growing a portfolio of agencies and brands under the Holding Company.
We are looking for someone active in the market and has strong relationships with the respective Holding Co or vertical you will be covering. An important aspect of this role involves developing effective client interactions to foster a better working relationship, collaboration, and overall partnership with Agencies and Marketers.
Your Talents
- You can turn relationships into strategic partnerships that drive growth for the business
- You can develop new relationships by networking through our established customer base as well as from scratch
- You are a consultative seller focused on solving your customers’ business needs
- You are a natural leader comfortable mentoring sellers and account managers
Your Experience
- You have 6+ years' experience selling to agencies and brands with at least 2+ years directly working in the programmatic landscape
- You have developed sales strategies that drive growth across complex customer mix
- You have deep customer relationships within your Holding Company and its agencies
- You have experience managing and collaborating with other sellers and are interested in growing into a more senior leadership position at some point
Responsibilities
- Lead customer portfolio with focus on identifying revenue growth within both agency and brand direct relationships
- Mentor, develop, and support other sellers working on your Holding Company
- Help launch emerging products and sell our strong suite of offerings to clients
- Establish and maintain partnerships with the major agency holding companies central teams
- Own strategic and leadership relationships at your Holding Company across agencies and brands – Director, VP, etc.
- Monitor region pacing and team activity using internal tools such as Salesforce and Looker
- Participate in quarterly business planning inclusive of your region’s bottom’s up revenue forecasting, identifying revenue growth opportunities and necessary resources needed to support growth
- Work with marketing and internal stakeholders to identify regional marketing strategies to expand brand presence within each market
- Be responsible for all data, reporting, and regular communications of your Holding Company to the leadership team
The base salary for this role is 160,000 to 200,000 USD. The total compensation package may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills and experience.
