Your Next Role:

Are you a go-getter with a knack for turning ‘outstanding bills’ into ‘payments sorted’? Do you enjoy helping people find solutions while keeping things friendly, empathetic and professional? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our client's team!

As a Collections Officer, you’ll be the superhero who ensures you help customers reduce debts and find suitable solutions tailored to their financial situation.

  • Contact clients to assist them with outstanding payments via phone, email, and sms.
  • Work out payment plans based on customer's situation and needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and client interactions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing disputes and discrepancies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.

What You Need:

  • - Someone with a minimum of 6-12 months recent Call Centre, Phone Based- Customer Service experience (within last two years). Financial services, collections or retention experience is beneficial but not a must.
    • Exceptional active listening skills
    • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
    • A natural conversationalist, with a strong ability to empathise, understand member’s needs and provide tailored solutions.
    • Problem solver, comfortable and capable of thinking on your feet while dealing with vulnerable members.
    • Exceptional communication skills both verbally and written.
    • Great typing skills & ability to navigate multiple systems at once.
    • AU or NZ Citizenship, Permanent Residency or 2 years remaining on valid working visa as this is a permanent position.
    • Available to work 37.5. hours full time each week
