Cuyana is looking for a Email Marketing Manager who will drive customer communication strategy across email, SMS, loyalty, and oversee implementation of programs to actively engage, retain, and increase the lifetime value of our customers. This role will also be responsible for the execution, analysis, and optimization of Cuyana’s customer communication programs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both email and SMS marketing and demonstrate the ability to drive results in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
While this is a remote position, candidates located in the Greater Los Angeles and San Francisco areas are preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive end-to-end development and execution of email and SMS campaigns, including creative build, audience segmentation, QA, deployment, analysis, and monitoring of channel best practices
- Email communication calendar planning and briefing
- Leverage data to develop additional communication strategies around personalization, segmentation, triggered campaigns, etc. and drive measurable improvements in customer engagement, retention, winback/reactivation rates
- Develop A/B and multivariate tests to continuously optimize creative design and campaign performance
- Work collaboratively across Brand Marketing, Content, Design, Merchandising, and Digital to ensure channel objectives and performance are consistently achieved
- Actively manage contact list growth and health to ensure strong deliverability
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years of email and SMS marketing experience in an online consumer company with experience crafting strategy as well as tactical implementation
- Experience with Klaviyo and an SMS program are required
- Experience with Google Analytics or other similar web analytics platforms required
- Experience with A/B testing preferred
- Experience with Shopify preferred
- Candidate must be comfortable with technology applications
- Demonstrated success in managing high volume, database driven email programs for consumer audiences
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and turn it into actionable insights
- Forensic attention to detail with the ability to execute projects from beginning to end

Compensation range for this role is $80k-100k, exempt, commensurate with experience.
