Cuyana is hiring a full-time Seasonal Customer Experience Associate located in for our Distribution Center in West Oakland (if local, may work on-site once a week and remote the remaining days of the week).
Full-time shifts available November through beginning of February. Possible transfer to a permanent position based on good performance and available open positions. Flexible hours and weekend availability required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Quickly and thoroughly solve customer inquiries via email, phone and in-person
- Respond to and communicate with customers in a friendly, positive, professional and efficient manner
- Process orders, returns and exchanges- for both online and retail channels
- Handle all customer requests and special cases at the distribution center
- Assist with fulfillment functions - packaging, personalization, receiving, QA, transfers and returns
- Assist with retail operations for all retail locations- including helping customers, completing retail transactions, receiving replenishment shipments
- Participate in giving back (e.g. help out teammates during peak season, support retail events, volunteer + community events)
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-3+ years of customer service experience or warehouse experience
- Strong communication skills
- Passionate about helping customers
- Team player, able to collaborate & work well with others
- Thrives in fast paced startup environment
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Positive attitude, self-starter, proactive and resourceful
- Ability to multi-task, very organized with attention to detail
- ZenDesk, NetSuite, Shopify experience is a plus
- Strong e-commerce system capabilities
- Flexible work schedule - available to work early/late hours, weekdays/weekends on-site and remotely with a strong internet connection

Compensation range for this role is $19- $21/hr, commensurate with experience.
