About OneBook Pro:
OneBook Pro is a dynamic platform connecting customers with local service professionals through a user-friendly app. Our mission is to create seamless and trustworthy experiences by offering personalized service solutions. We’re looking for a talented Web App Developer to build a responsive web version of OneBook Pro that will operate in sync with our React Native mobile app.

Role Overview:
As a Web App Developer at OneBook Pro, you will be responsible for building and optimizing a responsive web application for both desktop and mobile browsers using Next.js. You’ll collaborate with our development team to ensure the web version works seamlessly with the mobile app, leveraging our existing tech stack. We are looking for someone available on a contract basis to start, with the potential for a long-term, full-time role based on performance and project success.

Responsibilities:
• Develop, test, and deploy a high-performance web application using Next.js that mirrors the functionality of the mobile app.
• Ensure a consistent and optimized user experience across desktop and mobile browsers.
• Integrate with Firebase (authentication, Firestore, storage, functions) to sync with the backend used by the mobile app.
• Implement secure and seamless Stripe payment workflows on the web app.
• Collaborate closely with React Native developers to ensure feature parity between mobile and web platforms.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Optimize the web app for performance, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility using Next.js features like SSR and SSG.
• Monitor and debug issues, providing ongoing maintenance and updates.
• Participate in agile workflows, code reviews, and sprint planning with the team.

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in web development with React and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js for SSR, SSG, and PWA implementations.
• Familiarity with Firebase services (authentication, Firestore, storage, functions).
• Experience implementing Stripe payment gateways.
• Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience working with mobile-first designs and building progressive web apps (PWAs).
• Knowledge of React Native and familiarity with Expo is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
• Experience with Git and agile development processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Bonus Skills:
• Experience building and deploying PWAs using Next.js.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks for web applications.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles and the ability to collaborate closely with designers.
• Experience with cloud functions and serverless architecture.

Compensation:
• Contract basis to start with competitive hourly or project-based rates.
